Who am I?

That mexican with the emo haircut who straightens his hair
The one who plays bass and guitar
Who writes music or poetry like this
The one who keeps to himself

I’m the one who cut and quit
The one who smoked and quit
Who drank and quit
For his passions and his love

I’m the one who found God and the Devil and realized they were the same.
Who hated the world and the people in it
Who cursed the  names of all who watch me
Then found the world to be so much better

I’m the one who sees the light in the darkest of places
Someone who can help another find their own light
And even for those who believe themselves to be blind
I can be the one to help them see through it

I’m the guy with a past he never tells
The one who suffered because of his own mistakes
Who learned from them and grew from them
And even if I can’t smile for myself I dont’ mind letting others smile in my sted
